Warning: Website misusing the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Logo

A website for 'Blockchain Asset Refund' which offers to recover money which has been lost to fraud is misusing the SRA logo is misusing the SRA clickable logo.
What is the scam?
The SRA has seen a website for an organisation called 'Blockchain Asset Fund' which offers to 'recover money lost to fraudulent investments and scam platforms.
The website misuses the SRA clickable logo which is at the bottom of the web page.
The logo is out of date as it is dated 2 September 2025 and does not link to the SRA Website verified site.
The website also states that that during the recovery process you can 'speak to a solicitor'.
The website seen by the SRA has the web address: 'www.blockchainassetfund.com'. Any business or transaction undertaken through the website 'www.blockchainassetfund.com' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA does not authorise and regulate an organisation called 'Blockchain Asset Fund'.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
