What is the scam?
A website at www.nicolashanson.co.uk is operating and falsely claiming to be a regulated law firm called 'Nicolas Hanson Solicitors'
The website provides a general contact email address of 'info@nicolashanson.co.uk'. The website provides multiple contact telephone numbers of +44 (712)-695-1962, +44 702-6777-9888, +44 720 677 0909, +44 720 098 0909, 1234567890 and +44 710-626-85255. The website also provides a fax number of 1234567890. The website shows the following postal address 19 Primrose St London, EC2A 2BR, UK
The website also claims and names several solicitors who work at 'Nicolas Hanson Solicitors'. The images of these solicitors have been taken from a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).
The website claims the managing director is 'Nicolas Hanson'. The SRA does not authorise or regulate a solicitor named 'Nicolas Hanson' or a solicitor’s firm named 'Nicolas Hanson Solicitors'.
Any business or transaction through 'Nicolas Hanson Solicitors' or through the above website, telephone numbers, or email address is not undertaken by a firm or solicitor authorised and regulated by the SRA.
