Warning: Website falsely claiming to be 'Princely Solicitors' and/or 'Goldenblatt Law Firm' and misusing a genuine solicitor’s SRA ID

A website is operating and falsely claiming to be a law firm 'Princely Solicitors', and/or 'Goldenblatt Law Firm' and is misusing the SRA ID number of a genuine solicitor.
What is the scam?
The SRA has been informed that a website is operating at https://princelysolicitors.net and falsely claiming to be a regulated law firm by the name of 'Princely Solicitors'.
The website also makes multiple references to the name 'Goldenblatt Law Firm' and misuses the SRA ID number of a genuine solicitor (see below for details)
The bogus website provides the telephone numbers '1 800 643 4300' '+1 800 643 5899', +1 3456 789 00 email addresses 'info@goldenblatt.co.uk', 'office@goldenblatt.co.uk', 'Wilburn@goldenblatt.co.uk' and a postal address of 48-49 Russell Square, WC1B 4JP, London.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate solicitor’s firms named 'Princely Solicitors' or 'Goldenblatt Law Firm'
The website also lists the following individuals who it is claimed work at the firm(s):
- David Willburn - Divorce Solicitor
- Christine Judge - Co founder and CEO
- Christopher Law - Founder and CEO
- Jemima Kowalski - Attorney Assistant
- Damien Bozovic - Attorney Assistant
- Robert Ronson - Civil Attorney
- Gabrielle Ascamit - Attorney Specialist - Family Law
- Roger Papadopulos - Attorney Specialist - Divorce
- Angela Sonders - Partner
Whilst the SRA may authorise an individual who bears the same name as one of those listed (see below for details), the SRA does not authorise or regulate any of the above individuals who are said to work at 'Princely Solicitors' and/or 'Goldenblatt Law Firm' as alleged on the bogus website. Any business or transactions through the above-named firms, website address, telephone numbers, emails addresses or postal address described above, are not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor by the name of Liam Anthony Hession whose SRA ID is 669401.
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor by the name of Christopher Leslie Law whose SRA ID is 132496.
It is not believed that the above genuine solicitors have any connection to the website referred to in the alert above.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
